STORIES LEFT UNTOLD
Prologue:
I am the keeper of stories. People trust me and tell me thier stories of pain and sorrow, of happiness and hope. For many years I’ve these stories safe and sound in my mind. But for all the challenges these people have overcome, not many really know these people’s stories. Maybe you’ll find that you’re story is similar.
LONE WOLF
In a small town in Oregon there are rumors of a lone wolf who wanders the forest. It’s coat as black as night with emerald green eyes. It comes to those who are lost or are in danger and guides them home. No one really knows where this wolf came from. People say that the wolf was a beautiful woman who lived in their town. She had the same silky black hair and vibrant green eyes. The day before this strange wolf was first seen the woman disappeared. She was kind and gentle but was also strong. She helped many of the townspeople and had a daughter. Her husband had died in a landslide a few months after the daughter was born leaving the wife to take care of the baby by herself. Her daughter grew into a beautiful young woman who loved the forest. She would wander through the forest for hours on end never really knowing where she was going. The mother was used to this by now and was ok with it since her daughter always came back in time for dinner. But one day the daughter didn’t come back. The mother grew worried and went out into the forest to search herself. No one really knows what happened for after that the daughter nor the mother returned. But it is thought that the mother must have found her child dead for on that day the townspeople heard a wolf’s howl. The kind that would break your heart in two just by hearing it. That is why this wolf helps the people who are lost or are in danger, to give the guidance and protection that she couldn’t give her daughter. So if you see a wolf with bright green eyes and a silky black coat, don’t be afraid. She’s there to help you.
LUCID DREAMING
A teenage girl, who was about the age of 15, had just moved into a beautiful big house with double staircases leading up stairs from the entrance, and a hallway down stairs that lead into an exquisite dining room, living room, and beautiful tiled kitchen. She loved her new house but she was always very lonely since her parents worked from the early hours of the day to the late hours of the night, and she had no friends there. Eventually she grew to like being alone. She used her time writing, reading, and playing video games. But every night she had the same strange dream, she could hear a little girl crying and curiously followed the sound down into the basement. Once she went into the basement, she found the poor little girl curled up in the corner sobbing. Every time she would walk over to try to comfort the little girl but before she could touch the little girl, she woke up. This dream never made any sense, since everything about the house was exactly the way same as it was in real life, except for the basement. They didn't have a basement.
OMEGA
It's not easy being an omega. Everyone pushes me around and bullies me into doing all the work. A lot of times I'm not even sure if I'll survive another day since I don't usually get a lot of food. I'm sick of being picked on and snapped at, but there's nothing I can do about it. I can't just abandon the pack. I sigh.
SOMETHING TO GIVE
In a world with dragons and ghosts and fae, there lived a normal man. He was cruel and selfish. Everyone knew him, and everyone hates him. So when his wife fell ill and he didn't have enough money to pay for the cure, no one would help him. Every time someone told him that they wouldn't help him, he always asked why.
“You always refused to let me borrow any sugar that I needed and you always told everyone that my bread was stale.” the baker replied.
“When I was starving on the streets all you ever did was make fun of me and taunt me.” replied the tailor who grew up a beggar.
“Ever time I asked you if you could help pass out fliers for the animal shelter, you said that you would. But you didn't. You just threw them out.” replied the vet.
“Why would I help the person who just left my child with a broken leg near the playground when I wasn't there?” the teacher demanded.
“I would help you.” a beggar said from the corner of the street, “But I'm afraid I don't have money that I can give you.”
